Kathleen has been a massage therapist since 1989. She is a graduate of the Desert Resorts School of Somatherapy. She has extensive experience in all aspects of massage and body work and is currently working as a therapist in her own business. She has achieved a Master Level in Reiki and  and Certified Ayervedic Practitioner. She has extensive teaching and practitioner experience in a variety of bodywork and holistic modalities.

Kathleen has been practicing bodywork and massage therapy since 1994. She is a certified Manual Lymph Drainage Therapist trained in the Vodder Method. She has trained extensively in Neuromuscular Therapy. Kathy also has personal training, geriatric personal fitness and personal pilates certifications. Kathy has a thriving practice focused on assisting clients in need of MLD and medical massage therapy.

Lymph drainage is a technical modality based on changes that take place in the vascular system of the body. Lymph drainage is an important modality recognized by many health practitioners. This course teaches detailed neck and face massage, indications and contraindications, physiology of the lymphatic system and health and safety issues Students will learn lymph drainage massage techniques for the face, neck and body plus an introduction to the physiology of the lymphatic system.

Requirements for completion: Instructor evaluation of the techniques learned and completion of all course hours. Pass/Fail.
